The Graduate School of Management is dedicated to spurring new business and job creation, preparing innovative management leaders, and accelerating investment and innovation through strong partnerships with industry. To advance this mission, the Dean serves as the chief academic and administrative officer of the School, with responsibility for the academic leadership and the supervision of its resources, including faculty and staff, physical facilities, and budget. The Dean participates in campuswide policy development through membership on the Council of Deans, the Provost’s Leadership Council, and on other campus committees, work groups, and task forces. The Dean oversees all operations including student recruitment and services, the operation of the School’s central administrative and technology functions, and the external relations and development activities of the School.
The School supports eight graduate programs with enrollment of more than 750 students and a newly launched undergraduate program that will support approximately 1,200 students once it reaches steady state.
About the Committee
The recruitment advisory committee is led by co-chairs, William Garrity, University Librarian and Vice Provost of Digital Scholarship, and Beth Bechky, Professor, Stephen G. Newberry Chair in Leadership, Graduate School of Management. The committee also includes other administrators, faculty members, student and staff representatives.
